A hero for all of mankind. On April 12th 1961, at 7,55, Yuri jumped from his reentry craft at 8200ft and parachuted back to earth.
Yuri landed in a farmers field to the amazement of two schoolgirls who had never seen a man in such a strange looking orange suit and were oblivious that this was the landing of the first man ever in space! Yuri walked up the the girls and said “I must find a telephone, I must call Moscow!”
